Looks like the 3DR Iris is powered by a Pixhawk. Would you care to share details on how you connected the NS-HP to the PixHawk? Is it consuming NMEA directly by tweaking GPS_TYPE? The only details I have been able to find is this http://ardupilot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=7557 and will give that a try tomorrow.

Please see page-27 section 10 of NS-HP User Guide: http://navspark.mybigcommerce.com/content/NS-HP-User-Guide.pdf
We didn't tweek any code, just replaced the ublox GPS module.
Noise from radio seem to affect NS-HP, so separately power supply is better.

Thanks for the reply! I bet I've been in the NS-HP user guide about 100 times referencing pin outs and not once recall seeing the Pixhawk integration. What I get for not scrolling further down.

Hi,
Could you explain how mani radio modules I need for communications.
Do I need additional two radio modules for correction or I can use the same as for telematics?
PS
I read user guide

I believe you need one radio on the ground connecting to base, another one radio on the quad-copter connecting to rover, in order to send base data to rover wirelessly.
Re: Hover & Return to Launch Demo Using 3DR Iris + NS-HP-5 RTK Receiver
Can I use the same radio module for RTK and for telemetry? Or I need different radio modules for NS-HP base and for connecting to laptop?

yes, you can use radio module for RTK to send raw data, one connect to base, one to rover. in addition, if your vehicle also want to have a connection with mission planner, it's mean you will need two pairs of telemetry(radio module).
it is the radio module we used:
